Google’s Circle to Search Feature Now Available on Select HONOR Smartphones
HONOR has officially introduced Google’s Circle to Search feature to two of its smartphone series. This makes HONOR the third brand to adopt the feature, which will soon be available on the Magic V3 and the HONOR 200 series.
Although it’s exciting to see Circle to Search expand to more devices, it’s worth noting that, for now, the feature is limited to just three models from the brand. A spokesperson confirmed that the feature will not be extended to the HONOR 200 Lite or the HONOR 200 Smart models.
For those unfamiliar with Circle to Search, it is an AI-driven search tool that was first introduced with Google’s Pixel 8 series and Samsung’s Galaxy S24 lineup. Since then, the feature has gradually rolled out to a few more select Samsung smartphones, tablets, certain Chromebooks, and the Chrome browser. However, its availability has been quite restricted.
The tool enables users to perform quick searches by simply circling, highlighting, scribbling, or tapping on their screen to select text, images, or videos. This makes searching smoother and more intuitive, eliminating the need to switch between apps.
