The Realme C51 is a budget-friendly smartphone released on 24 July 2023. It offers several features that are typically found in more expensive phones. In this review, we’ll dive into its design, display, camera capabilities, battery life, performance, connectivity, price, and more to help you decide if it is the right choice for you. So read on, Let’s get started.
Realme C51 Details
Design and build quality
The Realme C51 has a plastic body, but it feels sturdy and well-built. It’s not the most premium-feeling phone out there, but it’s not cheap either. The phone is available in two colors: Mint Green and Carbon Black. It is a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but it still looks pretty good.
The phone is fairly compact, measuring 167.2 x 76.7 x 7.99 mm and weighing 186 grams. It’s not the lightest phone out there, but it’s still comfortable to hold and use. The phone has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display is not the sharpest out there, but it’s still good enough for watching videos, browsing the web, and playing games.
Performance and Battery life
The Realme C51 is powered by a Unisoc Tiger T612 processor, which is a budget-friendly chip that’s not the fastest out there. However, it’s still capable of handling basic tasks like browsing the web, checking emails, and using social media. The phone also has 4GB of RAM and 64GB and max 128GB of storage, which is enough for most users.
I did experience some lag and stutter when using the phone for more demanding tasks like playing games or editing photos. However, overall the performance is good enough for most users.
One of the best things about the Realme C51 is its battery life. The phone has a massive 5000mAh battery with 33W fast-changing support, which can easily last for one day on a single charge. I was able to get over 10 hours of screen-on time on a single charge, which is impressive.
Camera and Software
The Realme C51 has a dual-lens rear camera system, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, and a 0.3MP depth sensor. The camera is not the best out there, but it’s good enough for taking casual photos. The main sensor takes decent photos in good lighting conditions, but the quality degrades in low light. The main sensor is also pretty good for taking close-up shots.
The front-facing camera is a 5MP sensor, which is good enough for taking selfies and video calls.
The Realme C51 runs on Realme UI T Edition based on Android 13, which is a lightweight version of Android designed for budget-friendly phones. The software is pretty basic, but it’s functional and easy to use. The phone also comes with a few pre-installed apps, but you can uninstall them if you don’t need them.
Realme C51 Price in Bangladesh 2025
