Symphony officially launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone Z70 in Bangladesh on March 2023. It has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with a 720 x 1612 pixel resolution and a center punch-hole design for the selfie camera.
The phone is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage and runs Android 13. With all that is on offer, should you consider buying the new Symphony Z70? Here is our full review to help you decide.
Symphony Z70 Details
Design and Display
The Symphony Z70 is a stylish phone with a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. It measures 164.27 x 76.02 x 8.45 mm and weighs 193 grams. It comes in Reflective Green, Electric Blue, Honey Dew Green, and Fusion Gold colors.
The Z70 features a large 6.56-inch IPS Incell display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 20.15:9 aspect ratio. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a 269 ppi pixel density. It boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7% and is rated with splash resistance (IP54). However, It has no display protection.
Camera Quality
The Z70 packs a triple-camera setup on the back. The primary camera boasts a 52MP sensor f/2.2, a 2MP telephoto camera f/2.4, and a 2MP macro camera f/2.4. The rear camera system has an LED flash and offers features like 10X digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, filters, touch-to-focus, and continuous shooting with HDR mode. The rear camera can record videos at 1920 x 1080 pixels at 30 fps.
On the front, housed within a punch-hole design, lies an 8MP f/2.0 camera for selfies and video calls. The front camera features a screen flash and allows for front portrait mode recording. It can also record videos at up to 1920 x 1080 pixels at 30 fps.
Performance and Battery Life
The Symphony Z70 is powered by a UNISOC Tiger T606 chipset (12nm) paired with Mali-G57 MP1 graphics. The phone features an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz. It runs Android 13 and comes in a single configuration with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
The Z70 is equipped with a long-lasting 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery. While it only supports 10W fast charging, it should provide ample power for daily use.
Network and Connectivity
The Z70 supports dual nano-SIM cards and offers connectivity options like 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. It includes Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.
