    First 5G phone

I bought this phone about 2 weeks ago, in ZA, it's rebranded to MTN Icon 5G.

For a little longer than the first week, there was a problem with the in- call sound volume, it was very low, I could hardly hear anything.
And it seemed that the caller couldn't hear me speak.
Also, the loudspeaker was not working.
And when connected to my car's Bluetooth, also the sound was not working.

But, a few days ago, there were some updates, including the phone app, which I believe cured all the above issues.

    Now everything is working well.

Generally, this is my first 5G phone, and, it seems much faster than other phones I had in the past.

Note that the phone seems to get hot quite quickly and also the battery seems to drain fast.

Check your battery and also the apps that are using battery resources. I found nextapp was using a lot of battery and I disabled it.

It also helps to switch off mobile data and Bluetooth when not required.
