Realme GT 7 Pro Expected to Launch in October 2024
Despite the mid-year release of the GT 6, it appears that the realme GT 7 Pro is already nearing its debut, with a potential launch event slated for this month. However, an exact date has not yet been confirmed.
Realme’s president, Xu Qi Chase, shared the news on Weibo, though without revealing too many specifics. According to the post, the upcoming GT 7 Pro will feature both a flagship Snapdragon processor and a periscope camera, allowing customers to enjoy both cutting-edge features without compromise.
The post also emphasized that the device will stay true to the GT series’ reputation as the brand’s flagship lineup.
As for the Snapdragon chip, Qualcomm is expected to introduce its next-generation mobile processors later this month. This is likely to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which fits the description of a top-tier chipset and aligns with what previous models in the series have used.
Regarding the periscope camera in the GT 7 Pro, its exact specifications remain unknown, but it could take any number of forms given the variety of configurations that have been used in smartphones over the years. If realme is indeed waiting for Qualcomm’s new chip announcement, the phone’s launch could be scheduled for the following week.
