Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Benchmarked with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra with a new design, slimmer bezels, and possibly satellite connectivity. It’s also expected only to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, skipping the Exynos version. While this latest leak doesn’t fully confirm that, it does give us a good idea of its performance.
A Galaxy S25 Ultra was tested on Geekbench, revealing its first CPU performance and more details about the chipset.
The test showed that the CPU will have 2 cores running at 4.2 GHz and 6 cores at up to 2.9 GHz, which is a big improvement from the previous model.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s benchmark results showed a 30% boost in both single-core and multi-core performance compared to the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 Ultra. The new (2+6) architecture is confirmed, similar to a previously leaked overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 version.
The model number SM-938U indicates that this version will be sold in the U.S. It’s listed with Android 15 and 12GB of RAM, with the possibility of a 16GB version too.
