Vivo Y27s Details

Design and Display

The Vivo Y27s is sleek and stylish, with a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. Its dimensional measure is 164.06 × 76.17 × 8.17 mm (height x width x thickness), and the weight is 192 grams. It is available in Burgundy Black and Garden Green colors.

The Vivo Y27s has a large 6.64-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels. Also, it includes key features such as a 90Hz refresh rate, 16.7 million colors, and a 395 PPI pixel density. However, it has no display protection.

Camera Quality

The Vivo Y27s has a dual-camera setup on the back, which includes a 50MP primary camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Additionally, it offers features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch-to-focus, etc. The rear-facing main camera can record video at a maximum resolution of FHD 1080P (1920 x 1080 pixels) at 30 frames per second (fps).

On the front, there is an 8MP camera inside the display punch-hole for selfies and video calls. The front-facing camera also has advanced features like beauty mode, portrait mode, etc. Moreover, it can record video at a maximum resolution of FHD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) at 30 frames per second (fps).

Performance and Battery life

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset (6 nm) and features an Adreno 610 GPU. The device is equipped with an Octa-core CPU. It runs on Funtouch OS 13, based on the Android 13 operating system. The smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB, or 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, it supports expandable storage via a microSD card slot, allowing for a maximum capacity of up to 1TB.

Regarding battery life, the device has a large 5000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery that can be conveniently charged using a Type-C cable. Furthermore, it supports wired 44W fast charging.

Verdict

The Vivo Y27s is a good choice if you want a stylish phone with a nice design and a decent screen. It has some useful features like two cameras and extra storage space. However, it might not be the best for taking photos in dark places, and it doesn’t have NFC for some wireless payments. Also, it doesn’t support a 5G network. So, if you want a basic phone at a decent price, it’s a good option.
